Purchasing and Installation

I want a renewable energy system! What should I do next?

If you are a homeowner or self-builder we would like you to complete the appropriate on-line survey form (Solar heating - Biomass heating). This will give us some basic information and we will contact you once we have received the completed form.

However, the main point of contact for anyone interested in a quality system from Eco-Exmoor, is our office (after you have digested this web-site!). We can advise you as to the range of products we have available and which would suit your budget and your needs. As a company with ethics at the forefront, we can give you an un-biased view based on our 5-year experience. If you are an architect, specifier, housing assosciation or developer then please contact us and let us know how we can help.

We are more than happy to discuss your situation on the phone or in person to ascertain whether your property and location are suitable and what options would best suit your needs and give you our honest opinion on its' viability.

We can offer 3 options:

The usual process:

  1. Contact Eco-Exmoor to discuss the suitability of your project and available options.
  2. We will conduct a short phone survey to ascertain your requirements if you have not completed an on-line survey.
  3. We will arrange for our local representative to conduct a site visit and survey of your property.
  4. We will outline a specification and price based on your requirements, and liaise with your architect or contractor if required.
  5. We will then provide a written quote and advise you about any grants available. If you accept our quote and obtain the grants (if available), we will commence with the business of designing and ordering your system from the manufacturers.
  6. Delivery and installation of your system can then take place. When complete, we can help to arrange your first fuel delivery (for automatic wood pellet systems) and commission your system.
  7. Continued after-installation support is of course available: clients are welcome to telephone at any time with questions and queries. Trained installers carry out annual maintenance and servicing.

How much does it cost?

It is very hard to estimate a cost of installation as each application and property is different but if you speak to one of our team and undertake a brief phone survey, we should be able to offer a rough estimate followed by an accurate quote after a site survey. We have an ethical code of conduct and do not apply any pressure to buy. Here is a rough guide to prices as at March 2007:

How long does it take?

Installation times vary according to specifications. A small installation could take just a couple of days.

How long after first deposit payment will the system be installed?

There is a short lead-time on our products being installed; with some products we can work to a 6-week schedule. We always try to work within the requirements of the client and a split payment scheme is in force.
