"I wanted to report on the performance of the solar panels. In the last few weeks when the sun has been bright the temperature of the water has reached 50. I know you said not to expect the water to be heated much in winter but I have really been impressed by the system. It always takes the chill off the water and reaches mid 20's."

"When the sun shines I am well impressed with the response of our panels. In the afternoon when they are in full view of the sun the temperature rise noted from the thermometer on top of the tank by a good 12 degrees a few days ago. Good bright daylight is having its effect as well. We are using our boiler far less as well. To say that we are pleased is a slight understatement!!"

Our LPG (bulk tank) system was costing £119 per month but now Calor insisted on reducing our direct Debit to £70 and we are even then building a substantial credit. You have to adjust your lifestyle to cope with bathing pm rather than am.
