Eco-Exmoor strives to raise the profile of ecological products,
promote the conservation of resources
and implement the use of renewable energy.
About Us
Eco-Exmoor specialises in 'Renewable Heat'. That is the installation of solar hot water - flat plate and evacuated tube solar panels - and biomass boilers and pellet stoves for central heating and pellet stoves for space heating.
Systems can be designed to suit your specific requirements, and be readily integrated into virtually any heating system.
For either new build or existing buildings, solar water heating is the most cost effective way to reduce your fuel bills once you have insulated your building as far as possible and carried out other energy efficiency measures.
We are an independent and ethical company. We operate across the South West and have helped to train around 30 people to get the industry moving. We are developing a trained installer network and co-operative links with like-minded companies.
We aim to give you a personal service because every installation is unique.
We have installed nine different makes of solar system and several different biomass boilers during the 5 years we have been operating. We continually monitor different systems and manufacturers to keep ahead of the massive growth in the industry. We will give you an unbiased opinion on which system is suitable for your needs. If it is not suitable or economical for you, we will tell you.
Accredited by the appropriate professional bodies, we are approved installers for grant purposes. We installed the first solar water system in the UK under the former Clear Skies Grant Scheme. We were the second companyin the UK to become accredited for wood pellet boilers.
We have worked closely with architects, house builders/developers, homeowners and self builders.
We are part of an installer programme. We have trained up approximately 30 installers across the South West. We send our installers for specific product installer training and follow this up with on-site training and back-up. We work co-operatively with a number of like-minded and reputable installers across the South West and may train and work with them on larger projects and ones in areas where we can work together and save travelling time and carbon.
